There are so many reasons to read the Bible. It is God’s message to us. It helps our faith to grow as we see God’s power, love, and faithfulness. It provides direction in our lives, comfort when we are hurting, and strength when we are weak.

In order to encourage this valuable habit, we are challenging our church family to read at least 1 chapter of the Bible each day for the next 50 days. Since this is the Easter season, we are suggesting that you read one of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John) and the Book of Acts. Every part of God’s Word is valuable. Our goal is to read 3000 chapters as a church body by Pentecost, May 19th.
